Dr Kulshreshtha grew up in New Deli, India.  He earned his medical degree from the  University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India, and his PhD in Epidemiology from Emory University Rollins School of Public Health.

His clinical interests include preventive cardiovascular and geriatric medicine. In his spare time, he njosy tennis, travelling and trying new cuisines.He completed a PhD in Epidemiology at Emory Rollins School of Public Health and believes that there is no better place than Atlanta to build a career bridging primary care and prevention.

In addition to English, he speaks Hindi, Punjabi.

Dr. Kulshereshtha submitted several manuscripts recently and has been notified that his manuscript, Urban-Rural Differences in Coronary Heart Disease Mortality in United States: 1999-2009 has been accepted for publication in Public Health Reports.   The other manuscripts were submitted to the Journal Stroke, and to Circulation.
