PGY 2+ Applicants

International Medical Graduates (IMG) Policies

Only those IMGs with an H-1 or J-1 visa or permanent resident status may be enrolled in post-graduate medical training.  Emory will sponsor the H-1 and J-1 visas providing the IMG have documented evidence of successful completion of all necessary components by December 31. This includes passing scores for USMLE Steps 1, 2 and 3.  Application will be withdrawn from consideration if this requirement is not met.
